Fav10 Başyapıt Festivalinde 2. Sezon ödüllerinde adaylar gecikmeli de olsa belli oldu.

Cumartesi günü kazananların belli olacağı ödüllerde adaylık yarışına damgasını vuran filmler Forrest Gump ve The Shining oldu. Her iki film de aldığı 11 adaylıkla neredeyse her kategoride varlık gösterdi. Bu iki filmi 9 adaylık alan Goodfellas takip ederken Spirited Away ve Life is Beautiful ise 6 dalda Fav10 Başyapıt Ödülü adayı oldu. Etkinlikte yarışan 12 filmin tamamının en az 1 kategoride adaylık kazanması da dikkat çekti.
